Mivel ez abban az id\u0151ben t\u00f6rv\u00e9nybe \u00fctk\u00f6z\u0151 cselekedetnek sz\u00e1m\u00edtott, egy t\u00f6bb \u00e9ves vizsg\u00e1lat kezd\u0151d\u00f6tt, amelynek eredm\u00e9nyek\u00e9ppen el\u0151sz\u00f6r lez\u00e1rt\u00e1k a f\u00e1b\u00f3l k\u00e9sz\u00fclt kis \u00e9p\u00fcletet, majd a lakoss\u00e1g fegyveres tiltakoz\u00e1sa miatt a helytart\u00f3tan\u00e1cs v\u00e9g\u00fcl \u00fagy d\u00f6nt\u00f6tt, hogy le kell rombolni. 1730-ban a hat\u00e1rozatot v\u00e9gre is hajtott\u00e1k, s\u0151t a k\u00f6vetkez\u0151 50 \u00e9vben a kisk\u0151r\u00f6si evang\u00e9likusokat m\u00e9g a vall\u00e1sgyakorl\u00e1st\u00f3l is eltiltott\u00e1k.<\/p><p>Csup\u00e1n II. J\u00f3zsef kir\u00e1ly t\u00fcrelmi rendelete tette lehet\u0151v\u00e9, hogy 1783-ban \u00fajra templom\u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9sbe fogjanak. Az \u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9sre enged\u00e9lyezett ter\u00fcleten abban az id\u0151ben mocs\u00e1r ter\u00fclt el, \u00e1m a h\u00edvek nem ijedtek meg az \u00e9p\u00edtkez\u00e9s neh\u00e9zs\u00e9geit\u0151l, elfogadt\u00e1k a kijel\u00f6lt helyet, \u00e9s azt term\u00e9sk\u00f6vekkel igyekeztek felt\u00f6lteni, hogy szil\u00e1rdd\u00e1 tegy\u00e9k a templom hely\u00e9t. Az \u00fan. pusztai m\u00e9szk\u00f6veket a k\u00f6zs\u00e9g hat\u00e1r\u00e1ban elter\u00fcl\u0151 Nagyr\u00e9tb\u0151l b\u00e1ny\u00e1szt\u00e1k, \u00e9s n\u00e9gy-hat\u00f6kr\u00f6s szek\u00e9ren hordt\u00e1k be a templom alapj\u00e1hoz.<\/p><p>Az Isten h\u00e1z\u00e1t 1783-ban fel\u00e9p\u00edtett\u00e9k, m\u00e9g ebben az \u00e9vben megh\u00edvt\u00e1k, lek\u00e9sz\u00fcl Jeszenszky J\u00e1nos libercsi lelk\u00e9szt, aki 1783. m\u00e1rcius 19-\u00e9n tartotta meg sz\u00e9kfoglal\u00f3 besz\u00e9d\u00e9t. 1792-ben kezdt\u00e9k meg a torony \u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9s\u00e9t, amely azonban j\u00falius 12-\u00e9n nagy robajjal \u00f6sszeomlott, de \u00e9ppen akkor, amikor a munk\u00e1sok eb\u00e9deltek, \u00edgy ember\u00e9letben nem esett k\u00e1r. A k\u00f6vetkez\u0151 \u00e9vben ki\u00e1st\u00e1k a torony alapj\u00e1t \u00e9s hatalmas t\u00f6lgyfa oszlopokat vertek a f\u00f6ldbe, erre \u00e9p\u00edtett\u00e9k azut\u00e1n a tornyot. Ugyanakkor jav\u00edtott\u00e1k ki a repedezett fal\u00fa \u00faj templomot is, amely munk\u00e1t 1794. szeptember 5-\u00e9n fejeztek be. 1798. okt\u00f3ber 10-\u00e9n pedig megt\u00f6rt\u00e9nt az els\u0151 p\u00fcsp\u00f6kl\u00e1togat\u00e1s, melynek eml\u00e9k\u00e9t \u0151rzi az a rendelkez\u00e9s, hogy minden \u00e9vben, az okt\u00f3ber 10. ut\u00e1ni vas\u00e1rnapon kell megtartani a templomszentel\u00e9si \u00fcnnepet.<\/p><p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\">Az olt\u00e1r \u00e9s a sz\u00f3sz\u00e9k 1835-ben k\u00e9sz\u00fclt el, 1875-ben pedig a templomon egy nagyszab\u00e1s\u00fa fel\u00faj\u00edt\u00e1st, \u00e9p\u00edtkez\u00e9st volt sz\u00fcks\u00e9ges v\u00e9grehajtani, ekkor \u00e9p\u00fclt a mai karzat is. A templom \u00e9s a torony a t\u00f6bb mint k\u00e9tsz\u00e1z \u00e9v alatt t\u00f6bbsz\u00f6r lett jav\u00edtva. A toronys\u00fcveg mai g\u00f3tikus form\u00e1j\u00e1t 1914-ben kapta. A 20. sz\u00e1zadban m\u00e9g kett\u0151 nagy fel\u00faj\u00edt\u00e1s t\u00f6rt\u00e9nt az \u00e9p\u00fcleten, az egyik 1968-ban, a m\u00e1sik pedig a k\u00f6zelm\u00faltban, telep\u00fcl\u00e9ssel egy\u00fctt elpusztult, romjai m\u00e9g a 19. sz\u00e1zadban is l\u00e1that\u00f3k voltak.<\/p><p>Batthy\u00e1ny J\u00f3zsef \u00e9rsek idej\u00e9ben, 1769-ben ker\u00fclt sor a helyi r\u00f3mai katolikus egyh\u00e1zk\u00f6zs\u00e9g megszervez\u00e9s\u00e9re, Wattay P\u00e1l, a ter\u00fclet f\u00f6ldesura pedig m\u00e9g ugyanebben az \u00e9vben \u00e1tadta sz\u00e1m\u00e1ra a telep\u00fcl\u00e9s k\u00f6zpontj\u00e1ban elhelyezked\u0151 templomromot \u00e9s k\u00f6zvetlen k\u00f6rnyezet\u00e9t. Mivel ekkoriban Kisk\u0151r\u00f6s\u00f6n kev\u00e9s sz\u00e1m\u00fa katolikus \u00e9lt, ekkor csup\u00e1n egy kisebb imah\u00e1z \u00e9p\u00fclt fel a hit\u00e9let biztos\u00edt\u00e1s\u00e1ra 1773-ban.<\/p><p>A 19. sz\u00e1zad elej\u00e9t\u0151l a v\u00e1rosba k\u00f6lt\u00f6z\u0151 mesterembereknek k\u00f6sz\u00f6nhet\u0151en emelkedni kezdett a r\u00f3mai katolikus lakoss\u00e1g sz\u00e1ma, \u00edgy \u00faj templom fel\u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9se is egyre s\u00fcrget\u0151bb\u00e9 v\u00e1lt. Az 1826-ban fel\u00e9p\u00edtett neobarokk st\u00edlus\u00fa templomot Szent J\u00f3zsefr\u0151l, a Szent Csal\u00e1d v\u00e9delmez\u0151j\u00e9r\u0151l \u00e9s az iparosok v\u00e9d\u0151szentj\u00e9r\u0151l nevezt\u00e9k el. Alapk\u00f6v\u00e9t \u00fcnnep\u00e9lyes keretek k\u00f6zt Klobusiczky P\u00e9ter kalocsai \u00e9rsek helyezte el, majd 1827. okt\u00f3ber 9-\u00e9n a felszentel\u00e9st is \u0151 v\u00e9gezte. A templom f\u0151olt\u00e1ra a sz\u00e1zad utols\u00f3 \u00e9vtized\u00e9re nyerhette el mai form\u00e1j\u00e1t. A templom\u00e9p\u00fclet eg\u00e9szen 1931-ig meg\u0151rizte eredeti alakj\u00e1t, ekkor b\u0151v\u00edttette ki az egyh\u00e1z a kereszthaj\u00f3 meg\u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9s\u00e9vel. A negyvenes \u00e9vek elej\u00e9re elk\u00e9sz\u00fclt a ma is haszn\u00e1lt k\u00e9t manu\u00e1los Angster orgona, 1942-ben pedig meg\u00e9rkezett a telep\u00fcl\u00e9sre az egyh\u00e1zk\u00f6zs\u00e9g megh\u00edv\u00e1s\u00e1ra Karol Malczyk fest\u0151m\u0171v\u00e9sz \u00e9s Pawlik Milada tan\u00e1rn\u0151, a n\u00e9met megsz\u00e1ll\u00e1s el\u0151l menek\u00fcl\u0151 lengyel h\u00e1zasp\u00e1r, akik az orsz\u00e1gban \u00f6t telep\u00fcl\u00e9s r\u00f3mai katolikus templom\u00e1t festett\u00e9k ki. A m\u0171v\u00e9sz az akkor \u00e9l\u0151 embereket k\u00e9rte fel modellnek. A feln\u0151tt kisk\u0151r\u00f6si katolikus el\u00f6lj\u00e1r\u00f3kr\u00f3l, h\u00edvekr\u0151l a bibliai szem\u00e9lyeket, a hittanra j\u00e1r\u00f3 gyermekekr\u0151l pedig az angyalok A hit\u00e9let 1926-ig itt zajlott, ekkor a mai Pet\u0151fi utca \u00e9s a K\u00e1lvin utca sark\u00e1n akkor \u00e1ll\u00f3 \u00e9p\u00fcletet v\u00e1s\u00e1rolta meg a gy\u00fclekezet \u00e1talak\u00edt\u00e1sa ut\u00e1n pedig 1926.december 9-\u00e9n templomm\u00e1 szentelt\u00e9k. 1937-ben harangot v\u00e1s\u00e1roltak, illetve ekkor t\u00f6rt\u00e9nt meg hivatalosan az &#8216;anyaegyh\u00e1zz\u00e1&#8217; nyilv\u00e1n\u00edt\u00e1s, majd Nagy Ern\u0151 reform\u00e1tus lelkip\u00e1sztor 1938. szeptember 25-i beiktat\u00e1sa ut\u00e1n a gy\u00fclekezet \u00f6n\u00e1ll\u00f3s\u00e1ga is l\u00e9trej\u00f6hetett. Ugyanebben az \u00e9vben templom\u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9s szervez\u00e9s\u00e9be kezdtek, amelynek c\u00e9lj\u00e1b\u00f3l p\u00e9nz\u00fcgyi alapot hoztak l\u00e9tre, majd Templom\u00e9p\u00edt\u0151 Bizotts\u00e1got neveztek ki, b\u00e9lyegz\u0151t k\u00e9sz\u00edtettek, \u201eTemplom\u00e9p\u00edt\u0151 Bizotts\u00e1g pecs\u00e9tje\u201d felirattal. A gy\u0171jt\u00e9s eredm\u00e9nye 2.944 peng\u0151 volt. A k\u00f6zeled\u0151 m\u00e1sodik vil\u00e1gh\u00e1bor\u00fa \u00e9s front \u00e1tvonul\u00e1sa okozta neh\u00e9z helyzet, a bizonytalans\u00e1gok \u00e9s a szeg\u00e9nys\u00e9g a tov\u00e1bbi gy\u0171jt\u00e9st megakad\u00e1lyozta, a befolyt \u00f6sszeg pedig az 1946-os hiperinfl\u00e1ci\u00f3 k\u00f6vetkezt\u00e9ben semmiv\u00e9 lett.<\/p><p>1945-46 \u00e9veiben a gy\u00fclekezet tagjai er\u0151s hittel kezdtek hozz\u00e1 a lelki \u00e9let \u00fajraszervez\u00e9s\u00e9hez. 1946. m\u00e1jus 1-t\u0151l dr. Vincze Ferenc reform\u00e1tus lelkip\u00e1sztor helyettes lelk\u00e9szk\u00e9nt p\u00e1sztorolta \u00e9s gy\u0171jt\u00f6tte \u00f6ssze a sz\u00e9tsz\u00f3r\u00f3dott h\u00edveket, presbitereket. A hit \u00e9s a v\u00e1gy\u00f3d\u00e1s &#8216;Isten H\u00e1za&#8217; ut\u00e1n 1947-ben a lelk\u00e9sszel egy\u00fctt cselekv\u00e9sre ind\u00edtotta a presbitereket \u00e9s a h\u00edveket. Az \u00f6sszegy\u0171lt p\u00e9nzen megvett\u00e9k az els\u0151 vagon t\u00e9gl\u00e1t, majd \u00fajfent &#8216;Templom\u00e9p\u00edt\u0151 Bizotts\u00e1got&#8217; alap\u00edtottak. Az \u00e9p\u00edtend\u0151 templom hely\u00e9t, az \u00c1rp\u00e1d utca \u00e9s a Martini utca saroktelk\u00e9t Kisk\u0151r\u00f6s k\u00f6zs\u00e9g k\u00e9pvisel\u0151 test\u00fclete 1947. november 10-\u00e9n aj\u00e1nd\u00e9kozta a reform\u00e1tus gy\u00fclekezetnek templom\u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9s c\u00e9lj\u00e1b\u00f3l. Templom\u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9s helyett azonban m\u00e1s lehet\u0151s\u00e9g is ad\u00f3dott, a gy\u00fclekezetnek ugyanis 1948. november 20-\u00e1n siker\u00fclt megv\u00e1s\u00e1rolni a felsz\u00e1mol\u00e1s alatt l\u00e9v\u0151 Tomori utcai, 1914-ben \u00e9p\u00fclt Els\u0151 Dunavid\u00e9ki Takar\u00e9kp\u00e9nzt\u00e1r \u00e9p\u00fclet\u00e9t. \u00c1talak\u00edt\u00e1ssal gy\u00fclekezeti terem \u00e9s lelk\u00e9szlak\u00e1s j\u00f6tt l\u00e9tre. Templomm\u00e1 szentel\u00e9se 1949. m\u00e1rciusban az els\u0151 tavaszi vas\u00e1rnapra esett. 70 \u00e9ve sz\u00f3l az Ige mai imah\u00e1zban. Ez id\u0151 alatt t\u00f6bbsz\u00f6r sz\u00fcks\u00e9gess\u00e9 v\u00e1lt az \u00f6reged\u0151 \u00e9p\u00fclet \u00e1llag\u00e1nak meg\u0151rz\u00e9se, meger\u0151s\u00edt\u00e9se, k\u00fcls\u0151-bels\u0151 renov\u00e1l\u00e1sa, korszer\u0171s\u00edt\u00e9se.<\/p><p>Ebb\u0151l a munk\u00e1b\u00f3l ifj. Az eltelt 14 \u00e9v alatt rohamosan romlani kezdett az \u00e9p\u00fclet \u00e1llaga. Falain magasan sal\u00e9tromos nedvess\u00e9g mutatkozott, a t\u00e9gl\u00e1k 60%-ban vizet tartalmaztak, a tet\u0151cser\u00e9p m\u00e1llott. Az imaterem v\u00e9g\u00e9ben l\u00e9v\u0151 tan\u00e1csterem (ma el\u0151terem) alatt a pinc\u00e9ben lev\u0151 \u00e1lland\u00f3 v\u00edz a vasgerend\u00e1kat oly m\u00e9rt\u00e9kben meggyeng\u00edtette, hogy csak c\u00f6l\u00f6p\u00f6kkel lehetett megtartani a terem aljzat\u00e1t, hogy be ne szakadjon. Az el\u0151k\u00e9sz\u00fcleteket Kov\u00e1cs Istv\u00e1n lelkip\u00e1sztor int\u00e9zte, 1923-t\u00f3l a budapesti \u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9szm\u00e9rn\u00f6k, F\u00e9lix J\u00f3zsef t\u00f6bb tervet is letett az asztalra. El\u0151sz\u00f6r egy gy\u00f6ny\u00f6r\u0171, kupol\u00e1s \u00e9p\u00fclet nyerte el a gy\u00fclekezet tetsz\u00e9s\u00e9t, ehhez azonban \u00faj telket is kellett volna v\u00e1s\u00e1rolniuk. Volt sz\u00f3 helysz\u00edn gyan\u00e1nt a Kossuth, Tomori utc\u00e1kr\u00f3l is, azonban kider\u00fclt, hogy egyik sem lett volna alkalmas a nagy \u00e9p\u00fclet befogad\u00e1s\u00e1ra, \u00edgy ut\u00f3lag a ma ismert forma mellett d\u00f6nt\u00f6ttek, a mai helysz\u00ednen. Az 1924-es \u00e9vben \u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9si bizotts\u00e1g alakult, a munka megkezd\u0151dhetett. Mivel az eg\u00e9sz gy\u00fclekezet kivette a r\u00e9sz\u00e9t bel\u0151le, az \u00e9p\u00edtkez\u00e9s viszonylag gyorsan, k\u00e9t \u00e9v alatt, 1926-ra befejez\u0151d\u00f6tt, annak ellen\u00e9re, hogy a p\u00e9nzroml\u00e1s bizony alaposan megnehez\u00edtette a dolgokat. A korabeli hetilap, a Kisk\u0151r\u00f6s \u00e9s J\u00e1r\u00e1sa is arr\u00f3l t\u00e1j\u00e9koztatott, hogy ennyi t\u00e9gla egyszerre m\u00e9g nem is \u00e9rkezett Kisk\u0151r\u00f6sre. A mai Pet\u0151fi \u00c1ltal\u00e1nos Iskola hely\u00e9n eredetileg az 1876 k\u00f6r\u00fcl \u00e9p\u00fclt Nagytemplom \u00e1llt, de a h\u00e1bor\u00fat k\u00f6vet\u0151en az \u00e9p\u00fcletet 1950-ben elbontott\u00e1k. A k\u00f6z\u00f6ss\u00e9gnek k\u00e9t iskol\u00e1ja volt, egy felekezeti, \u00e9s egy szakr\u00e1lis funkci\u00f3t bet\u00f6lt\u0151, ez volt a h\u00e9ber\u00fcl B\u00e9t h\u00e1midr\u00e1snak nevezett, ma is \u00e1ll\u00f3 Kistemplom, mely 1915-ben \u00e9p\u00fclt, Szalvetter M\u00f3rn\u00e9 adakoz\u00e1s\u00e1b\u00f3l, Klein Jakab k\u00f6zrem\u0171k\u00f6d\u00e9s\u00e9vel.<\/p><p>A hal\u00e1lt\u00e1borokb\u00f3l hazat\u00e9rtek 1945 ut\u00e1n itt tartott\u00e1k megeml\u00e9kez\u00e9seiket, l\u00e9v\u00e9n 1944-ben 422 f\u0151t, szinte a teljes kisk\u0151r\u00f6si zsid\u00f3s\u00e1got elpuszt\u00edtott\u00e1k. Az \u00e9p\u00fclet v\u00e9g\u00fcl 1979-ig eredeti \u00e1llapot\u00e1ban maradt, ekkor a jelent\u0151s \u00e1llagroml\u00e1s miatt a v\u00e1rosi tan\u00e1cs k\u00f6z\u00f6ss\u00e9gi tulajdonba vette, \u00e1t\u00e9p\u00edttette, ezut\u00e1n hangversenyteremk\u00e9nt \u00e9s k\u00f6z\u00f6ss\u00e9gi t\u00e9rk\u00e9nt funkcion\u00e1lt, \u00edgy van ez ma is. A kev\u00e9s sz\u00e1m\u00fa t\u00fal\u00e9l\u0151 erre az id\u0151re nagyr\u00e9szt elk\u00f6lt\u00f6z\u00f6tt, sokak Izraelbe, m\u00e1sok Budapesten \u00e9lnek.<\/p><p>A Kistemplom fal\u00e1ban l\u00e9v\u0151 m\u00e1rv\u00e1nyt\u00e1bla eredetileg az \u00e9p\u00edttet\u0151 Szalvetter csal\u00e1d egyik s\u00edrk\u00f6v\u00e9nek a fels\u0151 r\u00e9sze volt, ezt hozatta be Szabolcs J\u00f3zsef a vas\u00fat melletti temet\u0151b\u0151l, s falaztatta be az \u00e9p\u00fclet el\u00fcls\u0151 homlokzat\u00e1ba, az egyik ablak hely\u00e9re.
